About CLMMRH AMLIG HEALTH CLINIC
Since its establishment in 2007, Amlig Health Clinic has served as CLMMRH's HIV/AIDS Core Team and Treatment Hub. Starting with just 10 to 15 patients, they now care for over 2,000. Their team of nurses and case managers works closely to provide comprehensive care, that includes screening, testing, counseling, and educational campaigns for their employees and the local community.

With the support of their development partners, Amlig Health Clinic extends their services to remote areas, ensuring that PLHIV patients in geographically challenging regions have access to treatment. They also offer condoms, lubricants, pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis, and treatment for other sexually transmitted infections. As the DOH's Apex Hospital, they handle complex cases with a multidisciplinary approach.
Committed to educating the public, they aim to dispel myths about HIV/AIDS and promote prevention methods. They provide counseling and support, addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of HIV/AIDS, and encourage early testing and treatment.
They envision their clinic as a beacon of hope in a landscape often dominated by HIV-related fear. Their mission is to deliver effective, cutting-edge care to those living with HIV/AIDS, reduce the spread of the virus through timely interventions, and improve the quality of life for those affected. Their efforts reflect hope, resilience, and utilize the power of collaboration in addressing global health challenges.
